The Client-Direct Portal
The Client-Direct Portal is a new web site that allows any clients to easily place an order for services from service provider that uses Field-Comm.net in their office. This allows Realtors, lenders or other entities to place an order and view the results of that order from a browser without having to know anything about the Field-Comm.net system that is receiving the orders. When the client submits an order, the order is transmitted via the Hub to a service provider’s Field-Comm.net office system.
Once an order that was placed from the portal is received by the providers’ Field-Comm.net office system, it can be seamlessly sent to subcontractors in the field for completions. Results can be effortlessly sent from the office system back to the Client-Direct Portal where they are viewable and downloadable by the client that placed the order.
The Client-Direct Portal is 100% browser based and does not require any additional software to be installed, so it works well for corporate users that have restricted access to their computers.
The Client-Direct Portal is partitioned into “footprints” that are each owned by a service provider that uses the Field-Comm.net office system. Each footprint can be configured to allow multiple clients to place orders, allowing users from each client to only see the orders entered by their company. Each footprint is also customizable by the footprint owner and can have custom text and the service provider’s logo displayed to clients that login to the site. The Client-Direct Portal is preconfigured with role-based security so the owner of the site can set up users with different levels of access on a per-client basis.
The portal is secured using user names and passwords maintained by the site owner and all communication is secured by 128-bit encryption. Version 1.1 or higher is required for use with the Client-Direct Portal.
